Aileeah
Receptionist

Aileeah is one of our full time receptionists. One of the things she enjoys the most is watching the transformation of our clients from when they walk in to when they walk out. When she is not working here, she is working with Green Shoe Records/Entertainment. We are proud of the work she did as “Suzi” in the Aveda Full Spectrum contest video “Suzi’s Hair.”

 

Amanda
Front Desk

Amanda works at our front desk. She is a full-time college student, and has been working in the salon industry for over two years. Her bright smile and friendly demeanor shows how much she enjoys working with our special staff and clientele. Amanda is a big proponent of Aveda’s organic botanical ingredients.

 

Anthony
Hair Stylist, Cosmetologist

Anthony is a hair stylist who likes a challenge…especially in the area of color correction! He is a graduate of Tricoci University. He enjoys getting to know his clients and helping them choose a haircut and color that accurately reflects their personality. His loyal clients appreciate his undivided attention and attention to detail. He likes to feel that he has enhanced the natural beauty of everyone who sits in his chair.

 

Brittany
Cosmetologist, Hair Stylist

Brittany is a licensed cosmetologist who graduated from Regency Beauty Institute. She enjoys pampering guests with her spa services, which include facials, manicures, pedicures and facial waxing. She is passionate about using her creative abilities when cutting and coloring hair, and she is a specialist in the Keratin Complex Hair Straightening System.

 

Carly
Cosmetologist, Hair Color

Carly graduated from Midwest College of Cosmetology in 2003. As a licensed cosmetologist, she has been working exclusively with Aveda color and hair products for eight years. She is a certified Aveda hair color trainer, and specializes in color here at Natural Concepts. She is passionate about color and color correction.

 

Elizabeth
Hair Stylist, Cosmetologist

Having attended the Aveda Institute in San Antonio, TX, Elizabeth is a licensed cosmetologist. She enjoys challenging herself with advanced education opportunities, and received training from the Aveda Advanced Academy in New York in specialized hair-cutting. Her passion is definitely hair, but she also offers spa services such as facials, manicures and pedicures, hair removal by waxing, and she is certified in 3-D Eyelash Extensions.

 

Emily
Nail Technician

Emily received her license from Advanced Educators in 2010. She offers professional, personal and relaxing services in our manicure/pedicure room. Her specialty is in Shellac manicures, but she performs wonderful natural manicures, pedicures and Gel overlays. She enjoys socializing and getting to know her clients, and helping them feel beautiful as well as relaxed.

 

Holly
Massage Therapist

A graduate of the ICC school of Massage Therapy, Holly uses her skills to serve clients seeking to feel calm and relaxed state through the experience of a thorough full body massage. Her specialty is Swedish massage, but she is also proficient in Hot Stone and Deep Tissue modalities. She likes to feel that she has added something special to the day for every client who receives a massage from her.

 

Irene
Assistant Manager, Hair Stylist, Cosmetologist

Irene is a graduate of Paul Mitchell Schools. Her ever-increasing passion is in cutting, coloring, styling hair, and make-up applications. She received her expert certification in Airbrush Makeup from Muse Beauty. She also has a love for working with fashion shows, photography, and video productions with hair design and make-up applications. We are proud of the work she did in the Aveda Full Spectrum video contest through Modern Salon, winning 1st place, an all expense paid trip to New York, and a photo-shoot.

 

Jay
Hair Stylist, Marketing Director

Jay is the newest member of our staff here at Natural Concepts. He recently relocated here from Louisville, KY, where he worked as a stylist/colorist for Aveda. He has always been passionate about this industry because he loves being able to help others feel good about themselves by accentuating their best features. Jay enjoys pampering clients with facials. He also carries an extensive background in Business Management and Marketing. He looks forward to seeing you in his chair!

 

Jenna
Hair Stylist, Cosmetologist

Jenna was educated at the Midwest College of Cosmetology. She excels at hair cutting, color the Aveda Smooth Infusion Hair Straightening System, 3-D Eyelash Extensions, Eyelash Dipping for semi-permanent mascara, and full body waxing for hair removal. Jenna is also a specialist in bridal and special occasion hairdos, and creates flawless makeup applications for the “perfect picture!”

 

Jennifer
Massage Therapist, Esthetician

Jennifer became certified as a massage therapist in 2000 and as an esthetician in 2009. She loves to help people relax with Swedish and Hot Stone massage. Jennifer especially enjoys giving facials with the amazing Aveda botanical products. What many do not know about Jennifer is that she is also a nurse, and she cares about the well-being of the “whole person.” The advice she offers to anyone who will listen is “drink more water and use sunscreen every day!”

 

Kelli
Spa Director, Massage Therapist

Kelli is our Spa Director, a nationally certified licensed massage therapist since 2005 and certified in several specialties at the Aveda Institutes. These include Chakra Massage, Acupressure Massage, Focal Massage and Body Wraps. Kelli also holds certifications in Pre- and Perinatal Massage, is a Reiki level-1 practitioner, and is proficient in the M’lis Countour Body Wraps for inch loss. Other massage therapies in which she excels are Swedish, Deep Tissue, Foot Reflexology, Hot Stone, and Neuromuscular. Her passion for massage therapy allows her to “meet her guests where they are and help bring them to a place of healing.”

 

Kemberly
Cosmetologist, Wig Stylist

Kemberly (spelled correctly) always knew that she wanted to become a cosmetologist. She has been in the industry for fifteen years, gaining knowledge through continuing advanced training as an educator. She specializes in the art of wigs, thinning hair management, curly hair, color correction, airbrush makeup, and updos for all occasions. Some would say that you can find yourself “lost in the moment” with her conditioning scalp massage…something everyone in her chair will experience. She likes to connect with each and every client on a personal level, making sure they look and feel their best inside and out when they leave Natural Concepts. She says, “My clients are not just a name…they are family!”

 

Kody
Cosmetologist, Hair Stylist

In May of 2007, Kody graduated from Midwest College of Cosmetology. She works in our spa, and performs all the different types of Aveda facials, manicures, pedicures, and is very adept at facial and full-body waxing for hair removal. She has a passion for hair services, and loves to explore new trends and techniques. She frequently involves herself in continuing education through Aveda. Kody specializes in human hair extensions, and was certified by Tony Odisho.

 

Lianna
Cosmetologist

Lianna did her training at the Oehrlein School of Cosmetology, a Pivot Point member school, where she excelled and received excellent commendations from her teachers. She has been a practicing cosmetologist for over a year, and has been furthering her passion for spa services with several Aveda classes. You will find her happiest putting her artistic skills to use with updos for special occasions, and doing manicures and pedicures with her distinctive style. She is also a specialist in gel nails.

 

Marie
Owner, Hair Stylist

Marie is the owner of Natural Concepts, and has been a stylist for her entire adult life. She lives what she promotes for her employees, always encouraging them to pursue further education and professional development. Her first advance education was through the Vidal Sassoon School in Chicago. Marie continues to avail herself of Aveda classes in Chicago, Milwaukee, and most recently, New York City. She most enjoys doing color, foiling, cuts, and facials. She is especially proud of the staff teamwork model here at Natural Concepts. Marie has a passion for Aveda, with whom she has been affiliated for over 17 years.

 

Pat
Hair Stylist, Cosmetologist

Pat has been a licensed cosmetologist for some time, and says she is still excited about her job after all these years. She loves people and she loves hair, and it really shows in her work. She finds each new day at Natural Concepts to be challenging and exciting, while she specializes in cut, color, highlighting, perms, and facial waxing. She says it is important to her to “be the change behind the chair!”

 

Rachel
Front Desk Manager

As our Evening Front Desk Manager, Rachel “keeps the light on” for us on week nights, as well as helping out on Saturdays. During weekdays, she is a college student at ICC. Rachel says she likes working at Natural Concepts because it is a happy environment, and she uses and appreciates the purity and performance of our great Aveda products. One of her favorite things is to “observe the dramatic transformation our clients often experience between when they come into Natural Concepts and when they leave!”

 

Ray
Hair Stylist

Ray’s early interest led him to attend art school in California. He has been using his artistic talents as a stylist for over 25 years. He frequently attends continuing education classes at the Aveda Institutes in Minneapolis and Chicago, has attended advanced cutting classes in Atlanta and Sarasota, FL, and has had advanced color classes in New York City. Over the course of his career, he has had several famous personalities in his chair. We are fortunate to have him as part of the Natural Concepts family.

 

Sally
Massage Therapist, Hair Stylist

Sally has been practicing the art of hairdressing since 1983. In the early l990’s, Sally began studying the art of massage and bodywork. She became a nationally certified massage therapist in l993. She has had advanced training in Pre- and perinatal massage, Deep Tissue massage, and Structural Integration. While adept at performing a nurturing, relaxing Swedish massage, her specialty and passion are in therapeutic work and chronic pain management.

 

Sandy
Hair Stylist, Cosmetologist

Sandy has been a licensed cosmetologist for many years. She trained at Vidal Sassoon in Chicago, and at the Advanced Aveda Institute in New York City. She has also attended many Aveda color classes, and has had extensive education in facials at the Aveda Institutes in both Chicago and Milwaukee. Sandy most enjoys everything about being a stylist…cutting, coloring, highlighting, and perms. She inspires tremendous loyalty in her clients and is honored to say that her very first client is still with her!

 

Suzi
Hair Stylist

Suzi graduated from Oehrlein School of Cosmetology in 2001 and is very passionate about furthering her education through classes and extra training. She specialized in multi-dimensional color and razor-cutting. She also enjoys performing manicures & pedicures. She is striving towards becoming an Aveda Color Coach in the near future.

 

Whitney
Cosmetologist, Makeup Artist, Front Desk Manager

Whitney graduated from Regency Beauty Institute in the Spring of 2011. She is currently one of our Front Desk Managers, and also uses her training and artistic skills to create wonderful special occasion hairstyles and makeup to compliment the look. She is a certified Airbrush Makeup Artist from Muse Beauty, and is passionate about giving each client the flawless, beautiful look they desire. Her warm personality and smiling face make all our clients feel welcome!
