advanced education
How often do your stylist take classes and what are some of the advanced classes they have gone to? Are they for color, cuts, extensions or for the spa. |

Re: Advanced education
Thank you for your question. All of our stylists and massage therapists continue to keep up with the newest techniques on a very regular basis. One of our massage therapists is in New Mexico right now and will be doing several weeks of classes in the newest therapies. Four of our stylists are going to be in New York in July for advanced master cutting classes, and two of them just finished advance training for hair extensions. On a very regular basis, all of our people go to Aveda schools for trining in all color, cut, and spa services. Hope that answers your question! |

I was recently in chicago and had my hair cut and styled at Mops . They are aveda trained. I have very curly thick hair. they did a great job. Iwas watching them cut my hair and ive never had anyone cut my hair that way. Have you also been trained to cut curly hair? |

Re: naturally curly hair
Mary, thank you for your question about curly hair. I don't know the classes Mops have had with Aveda, we attend all cutting classes offered and there has never been a class just for curly hair. Four of our stylist went to N.Y.C.at the advanced Aveda Acadamy on hair cutting. Two of our stylist have curly hair and I feel sure they could follow the cut you recieved in Chicago. Give us a call if we can help you. |

Re: New Styles
When your stylist returned from N.Y.C. did they learn any new styles? I am seeing alot of the old Farah layered look, is that coming back? It worked well on my long hair years ago. |

Re: Farah Cut
When we returned from our wonderful trip to the advanced academy in N.Y.C. we did not learn any new styles but found the ones we were already cutting were still in style. They helped was with some new ways of cutting them, and yes the Farah cut is back only much softer. Give us a call and we will help you decide the best look for you. |

Re:
I have very thin, fine, with bald spots. I'm hoping a good cut would help. I always wondered if layers is the answer. |
