Holiday Open House…

We had so much fun at our November AVEDA Open House that we decided to have another one! We invite you to join us on Saturday, December 10th, from 9:00 to 4:00. We will have lots of yummy treats and goodies, as well as staff on hand to offer you a complimentary hand massage and a sensory journey, with a free perfume to take home with you…while supplies last. Come in just to say hello, or spend the day with us in our festive salon and day spa!

Helping Our Local Community…

We also invite you to join us in blessing some very special children who have no one else to give them a gift this year. There are two ways you can do this. First of all, we have our beautiful Angel Tree from the Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization. Just pick a card off the tree, purchase a gift in any amount for the child, and bring it back (unwrapped) to put under the tree. Big Brothers/Big Sisters will see that a child whose parent is in prison gets a gift just for them. This is our third annual Angel Tree, and we have been amazed and blessed to see the generosity of our staff and special clients.

If you are just not interested in shopping for a specific child, we are also operating as a collection site for the U. S. Marines Toys for Tots campaign. Just bring any new, unwrapped toy and drop it in the box with the big red bow!

Why do we involve ourselves in these charities, and our “Casual for a Cause” Fridays? Well, a recent Zappo’s commercial was promoting a message that we at Natural Concepts choose to ignore: “It is better to give to others than to receive…especially if your name is Others.” While humorous, we don’t believe that…we see the opportunity to give back to the community in which we live as a privilege and a source of true joy!
